Justice Tashi Rabstan appointed as Chief Justice of  J&K and Ladakh. High Court 

Justice Tashi Rabstan be appointed as Chief Justice of the High Courts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Now, the Union Government has approved the recommendation.

Jammu: The Union Government appointed Justice Tashi Rabstan as Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The Supreme Court Collegium, while reconsidering its earlier decision a few days ago, had recommended that Justice Tashi Rabstan be appointed as Chief Justice of the High Courts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Now, the Union Government has approved the recommendation.

Justice Tashi Rabstan is the senior judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He was appointed as a judge on March 8, 2013, and is due to retire on April 9, 2025.
